Tina Russell was the quintessential girl-next-door. A cute, but by no means beautiful, little nymph who played the part of the naive coming of age vixen in many a feature and loops during porn’s early years.

Answering an ad in an underground newspaper, Tina & her husband entered into the world of adult cinema together, and performed almost exclusively together at first in loops and then full features. They were avid swingers and soon, Tina was performing with the top male stars of the time, leaving her hubby in the dust. The marriage soon fell to the side, as Tina became a top tier starlet. But the pressure was too much for her to bear and she fell into alcoholism & drug dependency. She would remain there for the rest of her days. After becoming hard to work with, she became an outcast to filmmakers and she slowly drifted out of the industry. She turned to flipping tricks for the rest of her life, which was cut short by liver cancer at the young age of 31.

Before she died she did become an accomplished author as she wrote 2 well received books about her life as a swinger and a porn star. She was posthumously inducted into the XRCO Hall of Fame.
