Tina Marie was a stunner of Samoan heritage that made a mark on the 80s porn scene before moving behind the cameras to direct. She was a sexual firecracker on screen and was reputed to be extremely easy to work with. From 1983 to 1986 she made numerous loops as well as about 25 features. She was signed to an exclusive deal with Video Exclusives early on in her career, and made quite an impression on company owner, Mark Carrier, as the 2 were later married. It was at this time that he withdrew all VE titles starring Tina from the market ( which was the large majority of her work ), and to this day they remain ‘lost’ to porn fans. He also insisted that she no longer make films, and she then took up directing for VE, most notably Christy Canyon’s comeback features for VE.

Tina is somewhat of a cult star, as most of her work has been hidden away in the vault. Her fans, however, have never given up on their love for her and her limited number of appearances.
