One of the first starlets that could truly be labeled ‘Porn Star’, Robin Byrd was a staple of the late 70s – Early 80s adult film scene. Starting out in string of loops, when the industry moved into the feature market, Robin was there to meet the challenge. With her ‘anything for a thrill’, swinging lifestyle, she was a natural for the world of hardcore.
Robyn graced the screen in some of the legendary films of X-Rated cinema like,
 ‘Debbie Does Dallas’, ‘Bad Penny’ &’Silky’.

Appearing in aonly 20 or so features, Robin basically left the biz, at least the performance part,  in 1981, but still remained in front of the cameras and on the scene with her famous, ‘Robin Byrd  Show’ on NYC cable for nearly 30 years now, where she explores the sexual underground and mainstream of the good old USA. So notable is her show, that it became a long running spoof on Saturday Night Live in the 90s.

Robin still occasionally turns up in non-sex roles in various vids, and has gained a HUGE following in the gay community as an understanding celeb.
