As the 80s Video Boom entrenched itself in the industry, so did a mass market for black and interracial themed vids. As a result, many black stars emerged on the scene, & Jeannie Pepper was among the first and best of the group. Her wanton lust for sex and her enjoyment of doing whatever was called for in a scene, helped Jeannie reach the top tier of sex starlets and propelled her into the annals of porn history. Jeannie had been busy doing modeling for black oriented men’s magazines, and performing on the strip circuit in and around California for a couple of years when the industry came calling. There was a lot of work suddenly in front of the hardcore cameras. Jeannie was a natural and was one of the first starlets to readily be offered interracial work with both white men & women, and as such, a star was born. Jeannie has steamed her way thru nearly 300 features since her entrance into X in 1984. To this day she still occasionally turns up in features, mostly in the black market, and is reported to flip tricks in the LA area for top dollar. She is a member of the AVN Hall of Fame.
