Crystal Sync was born & raised in England where she aspired to be an actress. Upon graduating from high school, she obtained a visa, and came to the US to try her hand at New York’s infamous theater scene. However, acting jobs were hard to come by but Crystal kept pounding away. Her hard work never seemed to pay off in roles, but it did allow her to make connections and two of those connections were C J Lang & Annie Sprinkle, both of whom were held in high regard by the NY underground art scene, as well as being top names in the NY porn community. Porn was in its infancy at the time and was looking for all kinds of different faces, even plain faces like Crystal Sync’s. When Crystal couldn’t make the rent for a couple of month’s she turned to her friend’s in the industry and she broke in with some loop work. Once she gained notice for her willing to do anything approach, she was cast in some of the industry’s very first features.

Crystal worked steadily through the mid 70s until the early 80’s, and turned in over 20 features and numerous loops before calling it quits. She never attained top tier status, but she was a solid supporting player and garnered lots of respect throughout the world of hardcore. Many of today’s porn fans & critics alike are unaware of Crystal’s name & her body of work, but the industry’s annals have given her a place in its history. Crystal is a member of the AVN Hall of Fame.
