Christie Ford was a sandy haired, girl next door type of porn starlet. She was often cast into such roles during her 4 year, sporadic career in the industry. Christie was an enigma, as she kept to herself when on the set, and little is known of her private life be it, before during or after her brief time in the porn spotlight.

Christie made her debut on the blue screen in a couple of shorts shot exclusively for the 42 Street peep parlors of NYC in the late 70s. That lead her to the blossoming, new porn industry that was taking hold in the city at the time. They were searching for fresh faced stars, and in Christie they found one.

Christie began to turn up in features & always in supporting roles. The pay was decent, but not great, and there were too few movies being made to keep busy on a consistent basis at that time. Christie began dancing more and more frequently at the clubs in Times Square to make ends meet between shoots. She also turned to hire herself out for escort services. Both of those endeavors paid off in decent money as she used her work on screen & in the peeps to allow her to charge more money and receive good cash tips along the way.

It’s rumored that it was after an extremely violent date with a fan, where Christie was lucky to be alive, she left the world of adult entertainment behind her completely. She was truly an unsung starlet of the biz, and had a good many fans. Sadly, it was one of those fans that forced her out of the business and a promising career that gave us only a handful of  films to let her shine.
